My play Fatchley will be part of the SheNYC Summer Theatre Festival in July 2020! The production will be directed by Sarah Rosenthal.

About SheNYC Arts: A group of theater professionals showcasing the talents of women writers and other theater artists, proving that there is no reason for male writers, directors and composers to have the overwhelming majority of produced work in New York City.

About this year’s festival: The SheNYC, SheLA, and SheATL Summer Theater Festivals will adapt to the COVID-19 pandemic by moving all programming to a live-streamed staged reading format. The selected pieces will record their full shows digitally, and will be streamed nightly from July 13th to August 2nd, 2020. Tickets to the online performances will be available in June at www.SheNYCArts.org.

About Fatchley: After a public nervous breakdown, Brooklyn actress Reina is determined to make a comeback when she signs on to a production of her best friend’s buzzed-about new play. Meanwhile, Reina’s boyfriend Clay has been assigned to profile a legendary theatre critic for his magazine - and the couple begins to see the light at the end of a rocky patch in their shared life. But as they embark on their respective projects, they discover that the pain, legacy, and power that dictated their past is not as far removed as they would like to believe.
